You Need a Coach

I get it! Let me say this first, you can get all the information you need regarding your health by simply input text into your browser, and you get 100000 pages of results. Now, this is where people get stuck! it’s an absolute minefield of information, how do you know what is relevant to you, and your fitness and nutrition, and what is not?

Having someone you trust outside who has been in the field can be super helpful.
this is where having a fitness coach can really able to guide you properly in your health and fitness journey.

So what do you look for when you are hiring a coach to get you to your health and fitness goals?

It’s important to remember, that a good coach can look at your life as a whole, and understand and prioritize what is important and necessary and what is not. They can give a little nudge in the right direction regarding when to turn it up in the gym and when to dial back down. Also, note that they offer accountability to help their clients stay committed to their goals.

When it comes to the actual workout and movement selection, they should know how to perform them correctly without risk of injury.

Life factors outside the gym should be a huge consideration that a good coach looks at when they are designing a lifestyle program for their client. Looking at your behaviours outside the gym settings and ensuring that you are eating right, getting enough sleep, managing stress, pooping normally (YES I SAID IT!) and putting in the work outside the gym as well. Working with a coach goes beyond just having a personal trainer. It’s really about the holistic approach to achieving your fitness and wellness goals that take into account a person’s unique goals and challenges.

The most important aspect of hiring a coach is this simple reason, a good coach doesn’t just ask you to work out, they connect you to the reason why you work out. This is done in many different ways of communication, but understanding the whole reason why you are working is the number one contributor to your long-term success in health and fitness and in life!

Overall, the benefits of working with a coach are to ensure you have personalized attention, hold you accountable to your goals, provide expertise in health and fitness and provide support to your life outside the gym setting.
